Chai Chuan Suing or known as Chef James came from humble beginnings. His always loved the culinary arts, a talent his inherited from his parents who is a well cooked in Hakka & Teow Chew cuisines. So armed with determination and passion, he went on travelling to gain more experience and he then expertly merges the traditional Chinese cuisines with Italian ingredients such caviar, truffle and foie gras and French styling to create modern global cuisine in signature presentation. Little did he know, it went widely accepted, practiced and has now been termed as modern Chinese cuisine. When years goes by, Chef James, the Executive of Chinese Chef at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel believe that being a good leader, he must maintain a positive energy, proactive attitude, approachable, accountable and even he felt blessed to his parents who made him to remember where he came from, is part of where he's going and can be proud of.
